What are the symptoms of depression?

Emotional Symptoms

Persistent Sadness: Feeling sad, empty, or tearful most of the day.

Changes in Appetite: Significant weight loss or gain unrelated to dieting.

Irritability: Increased irritability or frustration, even over small matters.

Guilt and Worthlessness: Feeling excessive guilt or worthlessness.

Anhedonia: Loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies and activities that were once enjoyed.

Hopelessness: A sense of hopelessness or pessimism about the future.

Physical Symptoms

Sleep Disturbances: Insomnia or excessive sleeping.
